We decided how to spend the Spencer money, splitting it between the hospital service projects, the NEF Backpack project and the End Hunger meals from the District for NFSB.
We've ordered the meals from the District, to donate to NFSB, but it will take a few weeks before anything happens.
We chose a date, April 17, 2021, for our Spring Fundraiser (Beefsteak) at Parks and Rec. It all depends on Covid.

Danny is lining up excellent speakers and has scheduled out several months
Barbara was named a Governor’s aide, which we are all proud of. In addition, our member and Interact Advisor, Megan DelaFave, was asked by Gov Ann to be on a District Youth Committee!
The What’s Up Nutley town calendar has the ok to move forward which will potentially help our club tremendously
Our Food Drive is making a difference in town, especially with Steve DiGregorio co-hosting our Facebook event. We have a drive up in person event scheduled for August 29 from 9-1 and Steve’s student athletes will be volunteering there.
I picked up a check for NFSB from Sam and Michelle at Trio Jewelers for $200, and I heard Unico is donating $750 to NFSB. There was a comment on our event shared by Steve: Mike DiPiano posted “The Nutley Elks are in the process of helping! You can count on Girls Soccer and Wrestling to help as well.”
PLEASE CONSIDER DROPPING OFF A DONATION
AT OUR IN-PERSON AUGUST 29 9-1 CONTACTLESS EVENT AT NFSB!
