Our yearly Scholarship dinner was held in person at Mamma Vittoria for the first time in 2 years.
Each year the Rotary club awards 3 four year scholarships as well as a vocational grant and a juried art award.
It was wonderful to welcome in person all the recipients and their families.
The recipients chosen from a large field of applicants are Rotary Scholars Alessandra Ferraro and Fiorella Rivera.
Interact member Mia Fonzo is the Joseph Viola Memorial Interact scholarship recipient.
Madeline Quinn was granted the Chester A Ryan Vocational Grant and Maya Guerra achieved the Juried Art Award.
President Dan Carnicella presided over the program.
The Nutley Rotary began their Scholarship program in the mid 50’s and has expanded it over the years to include the Vocational Grant and the Juried Art Award.
